The True Story…

My name is Hafihz. I have a marketing degree and a technopreneurship minor. The weird thing is I can write too, and explain complicated stuff in a not so complicated manner.

Not too long ago, I started using WordPress for my own blog www.hafihz.com. I loved it. But the joy brought a whole new set of headaches. I started looking at some sites which could not get their act together and were just plain marketing silly. Mine started silly too. But I think I’ve adapted well.

Then I browsed through some books on blogging, most notably Problogger. At every tip, I found myself saying “Hey, that’s a marketing thing!”. So why not have a site, sharing marketing in a simple manner, plus give tips to readers on how to apply these principles on the WordPress platform.

That’s MarketingPress.net. No doubt though, the objective is still the same. Call me a WordPress evangelist. I want to rid the world of bad WordPress practices, highlight good ones…

And cure my e-headaches.
